Kenneth Biggs Jr., 28, was sentenced to eight years and four months in prison on Wednesday after crashing his vehicle into a parked van while driving under the influence and fleeing the scene leaving his wife, uncle, and 9 month old baby behind.
Biggs pleaded guilty to felony DUI and hit-and-run causing injury and misdemeanor child endangerment. According to authorities, the incident occurred at the 4100 block of Clairemont Drive at 2am on Sept 5.
Biggs was under the influence of marijuana and amphetamines at the time of the crash. All three left behind were taken to the local hospital.
