Alabama State Troopers have issued a driving under the influence charge to Detroit Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley.
Fairley, a first round draft pick in 2011, was pulled over in Mobile after he was driving 100 miles per hour at 1 a.m. Sunday morning. He was charged with a DUI, open container violation, reckless endangerment, and not having vehicle insurance.
Fairley was processed, booked, and then released by 9 a.m. the same day of his DUI arrest. The NFL player is also facing other charges stemming from an April arrest. Those charges are in regards to drug possession.
